This zodiac visual system serves as a modern reinterpretation of traditional Chinese Shadow Puppetry. By stripping away redundant colors and ornate decorations, the design isolates the most recognizable silhouette profiles of the twelve animals. Through a network of interweaving lines reminiscent of the jointed construction found in shadow puppets—it establishes a rigorous modular graphic logic. This approach bridges the gap between ancient folk art and a systematic, contemporary visual identity.
